Corrections policy

A rating is only worth something if it matches the label today. When we get something wrong, or a formula changes, we fix it in the open. Here is how.

How to report an error

Email hello@plainbody.comwith the product or ingredient page, what looks wrong, and a source if you have one (a current label photo, the brand’s ingredient list, a safety review). Brand representatives are welcome to flag a reformulation.

What we do with it

  • We acknowledge substantive reports and check the claim against the label and the published safety reviews.
  • If it holds up, we correct the entry and re-run the PlainScore.
  • We aim to act on clear factual errors within a few business days.

Why we bother

We take money through affiliate links, so we hold ourselves to a higher bar on accuracy, not a lower one. Correcting mistakes in public is part of the deal. The method itself lives on the how we score page. Operated by [PlainBody legal entity]; reach us any time at hello@plainbody.com.
